I have to admire that my kids wanted to still wear their skirts outside to play. Kenzie was so excited to get onto her Lightning McQueen bike. You can still see some of the piles of snow that were around.

ALmost Spring???
This day and these photo's were taken at the very first of Febuary. It was the first day since who knows when that their was sun and a warm day. (warm is relative here it was about 45 degrees) My kids were do tired of being cooped up that we put on coats and helmets and headed for the great outdoors to ride trikes and scooters.

Aby was just as excited to go fast up and down the street on her scooter. She is fun to watch, because she goes so fast. It is amazing. I am so glad that my kids love to play outside.
You can see that Kenzie did get slightly board so she started to shovel some of the snow off of the snow banks.
This only lasted for one day, the next day it snowed again, but it was great fun while it lasted.

Jumping Jacks/Ballet video's
Aby has been learning how to do Juming Jacks and wanted to show daddy how good they could jump. I had been watching them practice throughout the day, and couldn't resist taking a video of the show for dad.
This video is one of the many times that the girls will dress up in their ballet stuff and turn on the music to dance. usually it just involves a lot of spinning and starts to make my dizzy. Sorry about the crying Brooklyn was on my lap and wanted a mommy meal.
Mckenzie Joy
Mckenzie is my go getter and my quiet get into trouble girl. I know that she is up to something when she gets really quiet. This day I came to investigate the quite, and found that she had gotten into my make-up and was making herself "pretty" She wasn't that bad looking for a clown.
Another day I sent Kenzie to get her pajama's on. When she came into the room she was too cute in her jamma's and ladybug costume. Who can resist taking a picture of a face that cute.

Fun in the Snow
From about the middle of January until just this week we have had a snow storm every one or two days. Not small one's either we are talking 3-6 inches each storm, and we didn't get the worst of it. Some places in the valley recieved 10-12 inches in one storm. Needless to say on the off days my kids were excited to play outside. I am not sure of the total amount of snow that we recieved, but I do know that it was enough to cover the trailer full of carpet in my front yard.
On this particular day Ryan was working from home, and during a lunch break he decided to clean off the back patio. The kids went outside with him, and he built them a mountain to play and slide on. It was really funny to watch the kids try to climb to the top of the moutain.
This was after they rolled down the hill one time. They did go sliding on their behinds, but found that it was more fun to roll or jump to the bottom of the hill.
Kenzie decided to try and go head first down the hill. She must have had fun, she is smiling and laughing.
Unfortunatly for Brooklyn she is too little to play in the snow, but she did have a fun time watching the kids play from the warmth and comfort of the house. She sat there quite happy for about 15 minutes.
As greatful as we are for the snow and the moisture that is has brought we are greatful for the small amount of sunshine that we have had also.

My little Sheriffs
Funny Brooklyn
Brooklyn is growing up so fast. I cannot belive that she is going to be 1 year old in just one week. She is at one of my favorite times when she is exploring and making messes. (I don't really like the messes, but she is so cute when you see her in the middle of something that I just can't bring myself to get angry.)
This is one of her favorite activities. She will come into the kitchen and open the cupboards and drawers and start pulling out everything. I don't mind too much as long as she sticks to the tupperware and my bags, I do get upset and concerned when she starts to play with my glass bowls and pans. She broke one of my bowls the other day. So I have to keep her out of that cupboard.
We were reading scriptures on night Brooklyn got into Ryan's scripture case. She was being so cute, that we actually had to stop reading scriptures to laugh and take some pictures. She had taken the case and was putting it over her and then pulling it off and giggling. It was just too cute.
This was just the other day, I was doing dishes, and ran to check on the girls when I got back Brooklyn was sitting on the dishwasher grinning and trying to help me. I thought that it was too cute so I took a picture before taking her off and putting her on the ground.

Dinosaur Museum
I am sorry but these pictures are in reverse. I just only realized that I can choose multiple pictures at a time. Unfortunatly I have to put them in the opposite order than I am used to, so you will have to read the story backwards. After spending several days being trapped inside out house due to snow storm after snow storm we had a few days break. I decided to take the kids to the Dino Museum in Ogden. I had never been there, and was curious as to what it would be like. When I called I was told that there was an indoor museum part and an outside part. I was also told that all the outside paths had been plowed. So we piled into the van, picked up Brynn (so that Kenzie would have a fun time.)
After looking through the very small museum we found an area that was filled with gravel. It looked like fun to dig in, and the kids headed in to dig. As they were heading into the gravel I noticed sign stating that we had to pay to get into the gravel. (I am a softy, so I paid to get in, and so the girls were able to dig in the gravel to find polished colored mineral rocks.) The good part was that they were able to keep any that they found.
Aby and Kenzie are digging, and mom is helping and finding most of the rocks( I wanted to make it worth my money.)
Kenzie thought that this was great fun. She could have spent all day digging in the rocks. Aby was a little less enthusiastic about it.
On the upper floor of the museum they had a display of electronic dinosaurs. There was a tyransaurus Rex that was attacking a trycerotops and her two cubs. When the girls first got up there and saw that they moved and made noises they wouldn't even go near them. After watching them for a while from a distance they figured out that they couldn't move their legs, then the kids got brave and would go up to the fence. The funniest part was they kept talking to the baby tricerotops and telling them that it would be ok.
Down stairs the kids were running from skeleton to skeleton, they were fasinated with how different each one looked. It was fun for me to watch them and point stuff out to them.
In the end we did go outside, but the walkways were far from plowed, and the stroller got stuck very quickly, so we were only able to look at a few of the dinosaurs outside. We did have a great time.
