I have started setting up a group activity for parents to take their kids places to get them out of the house 2 times a month. I am doing this for selfish reasons, my kids need to get out of the house every once in a while or they start to go stir crazy and drive me nuts, and they want to play with thier friends. On this particular Tuesday a group of us went to the TreeHouse museum in Ogden. My kids had never been there, and it was fantastic. even after 3 hours we still had not even seen only all of the museum. So it is definatley one that I will go back to often.

TreeHouse Museum
Someday I am going to figure out how to put all of my pictures in the right order, but today is not that day. These pictures are not even in backwards order, they are in random order. I am not even sure how I managed to do that.

Brooklyn had a fun time playing with the puppets in the midevel castle area. She wasn't so happy during other parts of the day.
Kenzie thought that all the dress up costumes in each place were the best part, but I liked her best as the jokcr for the King and Queen. (Aby and Mati Ball) I am not sure she understood about the costume, but she thought it was great fun to wear it around.
Aby was the happies in the doll house area, where there were plenty of dolls to play dress up with. She had a lot of fun trading around their outfits and playing with them.
This was the craft area where the kids could create thier own picture just like artists in the books. There were paper, string, markers, glue, stickers, and just about anything else that you wanted to play with. In this picture is Mati Ball, Kenzie, Aby, and Bryn. Brooklyn is trying to see if she can get across the room by going under the table.
It is fun for me to take Bryn when I got on short trips like this, she and Kenzie are best friends, and Kenzie is always asking to play with her. In this case Bryn found the puppet area and did her best to entertain anyone who would listen to her.
There was a small stage with curtains that they kids could put on plays with, however Brooklyn prefered to play peek-a-boo with mom instead.
There was an old fashioned school room complete with chalk boards adn costumes. Aby of course went straight to the head of the class, and started to teach anyone who would sit still long enough to learn.
Kenzie and Bryn had fun in the fire engin stearing and ringing the old time bell.
This is in the music room I wish that I had a picture of earlier because when I first looked over Kenzie was walking on the big drums not playing them. Needless to say I had to get her down and teach her what to do so that she didn' t break them and get us kicked out for the rest of our lives.
This was in the medical body area, Aby and I put together a skeleton and then I made the mistake of setting Brooklyn down, you can tell by her face that this was not a good plan on my part.
Kenzie was facinated by the medical room, and spent a long time looking at all the organs and models that were there, and playing doctor to all the dolls. Who knows I might have a future doctor in the family to take care of me when I am old and forgetful.
Kenzie was practicing her letters on a small chalk board in the schoolhouse room.

ALmost Spring???
This day and these photo's were taken at the very first of Febuary. It was the first day since who knows when that their was sun and a warm day. (warm is relative here it was about 45 degrees) My kids were do tired of being cooped up that we put on coats and helmets and headed for the great outdoors to ride trikes and scooters.
I have to admire that my kids wanted to still wear their skirts outside to play. Kenzie was so excited to get onto her Lightning McQueen bike. You can still see some of the piles of snow that were around.
Aby was just as excited to go fast up and down the street on her scooter. She is fun to watch, because she goes so fast. It is amazing. I am so glad that my kids love to play outside.
You can see that Kenzie did get slightly board so she started to shovel some of the snow off of the snow banks.
This only lasted for one day, the next day it snowed again, but it was great fun while it lasted.

Jumping Jacks/Ballet video's
Aby has been learning how to do Juming Jacks and wanted to show daddy how good they could jump. I had been watching them practice throughout the day, and couldn't resist taking a video of the show for dad.
This video is one of the many times that the girls will dress up in their ballet stuff and turn on the music to dance. usually it just involves a lot of spinning and starts to make my dizzy. Sorry about the crying Brooklyn was on my lap and wanted a mommy meal.
Mckenzie Joy
Mckenzie is my go getter and my quiet get into trouble girl. I know that she is up to something when she gets really quiet. This day I came to investigate the quite, and found that she had gotten into my make-up and was making herself "pretty" She wasn't that bad looking for a clown.
Another day I sent Kenzie to get her pajama's on. When she came into the room she was too cute in her jamma's and ladybug costume. Who can resist taking a picture of a face that cute.

Fun in the Snow
From about the middle of January until just this week we have had a snow storm every one or two days. Not small one's either we are talking 3-6 inches each storm, and we didn't get the worst of it. Some places in the valley recieved 10-12 inches in one storm. Needless to say on the off days my kids were excited to play outside. I am not sure of the total amount of snow that we recieved, but I do know that it was enough to cover the trailer full of carpet in my front yard.
On this particular day Ryan was working from home, and during a lunch break he decided to clean off the back patio. The kids went outside with him, and he built them a mountain to play and slide on. It was really funny to watch the kids try to climb to the top of the moutain.
This was after they rolled down the hill one time. They did go sliding on their behinds, but found that it was more fun to roll or jump to the bottom of the hill.
Kenzie decided to try and go head first down the hill. She must have had fun, she is smiling and laughing.
Unfortunatly for Brooklyn she is too little to play in the snow, but she did have a fun time watching the kids play from the warmth and comfort of the house. She sat there quite happy for about 15 minutes.
As greatful as we are for the snow and the moisture that is has brought we are greatful for the small amount of sunshine that we have had also.

My little Sheriffs
Funny Brooklyn
Brooklyn is growing up so fast. I cannot belive that she is going to be 1 year old in just one week. She is at one of my favorite times when she is exploring and making messes. (I don't really like the messes, but she is so cute when you see her in the middle of something that I just can't bring myself to get angry.)
This is one of her favorite activities. She will come into the kitchen and open the cupboards and drawers and start pulling out everything. I don't mind too much as long as she sticks to the tupperware and my bags, I do get upset and concerned when she starts to play with my glass bowls and pans. She broke one of my bowls the other day. So I have to keep her out of that cupboard.
We were reading scriptures on night Brooklyn got into Ryan's scripture case. She was being so cute, that we actually had to stop reading scriptures to laugh and take some pictures. She had taken the case and was putting it over her and then pulling it off and giggling. It was just too cute.
This was just the other day, I was doing dishes, and ran to check on the girls when I got back Brooklyn was sitting on the dishwasher grinning and trying to help me. I thought that it was too cute so I took a picture before taking her off and putting her on the ground.
