Swimming!

The weather hit the mid 80's, and so my neighbor and I pulled out the swimsuits for our kids. She had a small pool, and I turned on the sprinkler under the trampoline. The kids had a great time jumping and getting wet.
Aby and Josh (our neighbors son) were playing in the middle of the water. They would sit down everyonce in a while, but mostly just enjoyed jumping.
What makes the Trampoline get wet? This was just too funny to see all three kids looking under the tramp to see the sprinkler. If I wasn't taking picutures, I might have pulled the sprinkler out to get them all wet.
Here is Kenzie mid jump. She is my little dare devil, and will just about do anything.
Brooklyn enjoyed the fun from the very dry patio in her bouncy chair. She had a great time and enjoyed being outside. She definatly loves to play outside.

Time to feed the babies

Can you guess how I feed Brooklyn?
Kenzie has watched me feed Brooklyn, and so now she will sit on the couch and pull up her shirt and pretend to feed her baby the same way. This unnerves Ryan a little bit, but I think that it is absolutely funny and cute. Aby used to do this when I was feeding Kenzie but now feeds her "baby" with a spoon and bowl.
I love my girls!!!!

Scripture time

This picture was just too cute and funny too pass up. Sometimes mom and dad talk about what they are reading in the scriptures, and I guess that this time we talked a bit longer than we should have. Aby didn't say anything, and then when we looked over we saw her sleeping. It was just such a precious moment. She is such a sweetheart, and wants to learn all that she can about Jesus.

Get better Grandpa Roundy

Grandpa Roundy Got sick and went into the Hospital on April 27, 2007. He was having some serious heart problems. This was very unnerving to everyone in the family, but I was especially worried because I couldn't help out like I wanted. Ryan's sister Tiffany was getting married the next day, and needed to be there for that. His family was very understanding, and helped me to see my dad in the hospital by watching the kids. I will always be grateful for such a wonderful husband and the family that raised him. Thank you so much for your support.

When Aby found out that Grandpa was in the hospital she decided that she wanted to make him a card to help him feel better. She did this with no prompting from mom either. Because of the wedding we didn't get the cards made until Monday April 30th. The same day that Grandpa was released from the Hospital. Aby and Kenzie took time to both paint, and color the cards, for Grandpa. When they were done and dry we took the cards over to grandpa to help him feel better.
Here are the cards that the girls made I did most of the writing, but Aby signed her own name (more than once.) They were both very excited about the cards.
When we got to Grandpa's house, Aby went running right up and gave Grandpa his card, but Mckenzie was really shy. She did finally go and sit on his lap so that he could read her card as well. I am so thankful for the priesthood blessing that my father was given in the hospital and for his recovery. He is doing much better now and we are very glad that he will be around for a lot longer. I love him very much.

Tiffany Sullivan Wedding Reception

Tiffany held and early recepiton in her back yard. We all prayed very hard for a sunny and warm day, and would you believe that it was the hottest day of the year so far!!! I know that Heavenly Father answers prayers. All of my girls wore the beautiful dresses that we found a few days earlier. They all matched, and looked fantastic, the photographer took several pictures of them so I know that I am not being that biased. I was a little upset becasue by the end of the reception both Aby and Kenzie had torn the tool at the bottem of their dresses, and it will have to be repaired before my brother Andrew gets married.
Brooklyn looked like and Angle and slept like the dead. I kept trying to wake her up, but she didn't want anything to do with it, so this is were she spent most of the reception sitting in her car seat in the house surrounded by all the presents that people brought.
Aby looks like and angel in this picture, and loves to pose for pictures in case you cannot tell. She is getting more beautiful each day. I am thinking of making her join a convent when she turns 12.
Here is a picture of daddy and Kenzie they are watching Tiffany cut her cake, Kenzie is much like her mother in that she took off her shoes, and didn't like the hair piece, in fact I had to bribe her to wear it when she did.
This is just a fun picture of daddy and two of his girls, they are both so beautiful, and yes I did have to bribe Kenzie to wear the head piece.

Tiffany Sullivan's Wedding at the Temple

Tiffany Sullivan married Nathan Jones on April 28, 2007 in the Salt Lake Temple. I was able to attend the ceremony, and it was wonderful. It brought back a lot of memories from about 5 years ago when my love and I were sealed for time and all enternity in the same temple. Aby and Kenzie were absolutely in awe and thrilled to be at the temple that mommy and daddy were married in. Ok Ok they were more in awe of how beautiful Tiffany looked in her "princess bride" dress. Aby especially fell in love and followed Tiffany around through all of the pictures. Ryan and I are very grateful for the love and patience that Tiffany had for her following around, and also for Tiffany and Nate setting a wonderful example of getting married in the temple.
In this picture Tiffany had taken off her shoes for a picture and Aby put them on. (Yes Tiffany really did wear red high heels under her wedding dress.)
This is just a really cute picture of Aby with Tiffany, Kenzie was very clingy to me and didn't want to be in this picture at all. Mainly she just didn't want to leave me. She gets really upset when I leave her alone with anyone and I am not there. ( I chose to go to the temple with Ryan babysat at the house earlier.)
In this picture Aby was helping Tiffany and Grandma to carry the dress. If you click on the picture you can see the size of her smile. It almost takes up her entire face.
Ahhh the reflection pool, I am sure that many a bride has wanted to stick feet in there, but only kids can get away with it. This was the first time that Kenzie decided this day would be ok. Aby was ready to jump right in and go swimming, but settled for sticking her feet in the water.
It only took Kenzie and cousin Ali a few seconds to figure out that they could reach across and play in the water with thier hands. They had a great time, and Kenzie got her dress wet. At this point I didn't really care, because she was happy and content.
Kenzie got a little bit tired of following the bride and groom while daddy took pictures and decided to sit down and have a little snack or trail mix. If you look to the side of the picture you can see my really cool new double running stroller that Ryan got me. I love it, and it came in really handy to carry everyone's extra stuff.
Aby on the other hand never got tired of following the bride and groom, here she is with Grandma Sullivan in front of some of the tulips.
Finally all the pictures are done, and we are on our way home. Now you can see the whole stroller and we loved it.

Some funny Stories

I have decided to give everyone a good laugh at my expense with some of the funny things that have happened around our house recently. Mostly these things only happen to me....I am starting to wonder if I should have a complex yet.

Story Number 1:
This actually happened a few weeks ago, but is well worth telling again. Kenzie has started to want to take showers with me, and no is not an answer that she will take. She will strip her cloths and diaper and climb into the shower before I have a chance to try and talk her out of it. As a mom sometimes the only time I have to be alone is in the shower, so one day I got the girls playing with some playdough in the kitchen told them that I was going to take a shower, hurried to that bathroom and locked the door. At first this was great the kids didn't bug me at all but then they started to knock on the door, and asked if they could go outside, I said that was fine. When I got out of the shower I went to a window too see if they were ok. Aby was swinging on the swing, and Kenzie was jumping butt naked on the trampoline. I guess she wanted to get in the shower with me, but decided to go outside and play when the door was locked. I hurried to get dressed, and went outside to get Kenzie and she was having a great time running and jumping without her clothes on. (It took me a while to get her inside.)

Story Number 2:
This only happened last Sunday at Ryan's Parents house. We had gone over to have a surprise party for Marlene's birthday, and were playing a game in the evening. Kelly, Marlene, Ryan, and I were playing and the kids were outside. Mckenzie got hurt and came inside to get loves and milk. It was my turn so I told her to wait a minute and i would get her milk. She didn't like this got off my lap and started to cry on the floor. After my turn I stood up to get the milk, and Kelly was watching to see if I needed any help. Mckenzie grabbed my pants, (I was wearing black goucho pants that are just strechy no waist) and tried to pull herself up, unfortunatly my pants went down to my ankles instead of helping her up. Poor Kelly got more than and eyeful before he could turn his head. I was very embaressed, and quickly pulled up my pants. The only thing that I could think to say was I have just been pants by my two year old daughter.

I hope that you enjoyed a good laugh!
